Privacy Policy

WunderKick shows football fixtures, live scores, statistics, line-ups and news. No account is required; we do not collect your name, email, phone number or location. Settings you save (such as language and favourite teams) stay locally on your device.

Data we process

When content is fetched, our server temporarily processes technical data such as the IP address and request timestamps, solely to run the service, prevent abuse and improve stability. This data is not used to identify individuals.

Data sources

Match, team and player data (results, statistics, line-ups, logos) come from a licensed sports-data provider (API-Football / API-Sports). Match videos are searched and embedded exclusively through Google's official YouTube Data API, and only content from official channels is shown. News is aggregated from publicly available news sources and RSS feeds and links back to the original source. All trademark and image rights remain with their respective owners.

Notifications (Firebase Cloud Messaging)

Notifications are optional (goals, match reminders, team news) via Google Firebase Cloud Messaging. An anonymous device token is processed and you subscribe to topics for the teams/matches you choose. You can disable them anytime in the app or system settings.

Advertising

The app is partly funded by ads via Google AdMob, which may process a device advertising identifier to serve and measure ads. In the EU/EEA, consent is requested via a consent dialog before personalized ads, and you may choose non-personalized ads. We use no first-party analytics or tracking tools.

Sharing, retention, children & your rights

We do not sell user data. Processing by service providers (hosting, Google Firebase/AdMob, the sports-data provider) is limited to what is needed to operate the app. Technical server logs are kept briefly and then deleted automatically. The app targets a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, object to and port your data where applicable, and to lodge a complaint with a data-protection authority.
